Hey all!
Well Last Friday was amazing. Me and my course mate Loki went down to London to see Video Games Live and I have to say that i had one of the best times of life there.
Music is very important to me and to be there to hear such wonderful music made me feel so euphoric and inspired! ^_^
Many classics were played from such games as Metroid, Zelda, Metal gear solid (One of my personal favorites… i got chills as the end of that ^_^) and Kingdom hearts (orchestral version of passion ^o^).
There was also a appearance from the Video Game Pianist - Martin Leung. He was amazing! He played many pieces such as a Final Fantasy medley (Which included to my love Aeris theme! <3 <3 <3 ), playing the mario theme blindfolded and then again at about 4-8x the speed O_o. His hands were a blur….
Some gaming was also included. Firstly a live play of space invaders, with the guy actually been the little tank thing. He had to run across the stage to get the tank to move! It was so funny to watch XD. Along with that there was also a love play of guitar hero along side the orchestra. The guy who was playing was stupidly good and deserved his prizes XD
But that all built up to the end where they did a full live rendition, complete with electric guitar of ONE WINGED ANGEL!!!!! It could only be described as epic!!!! =D. I have lived after hearing that!
There’s another concert planed sometime in Glasgow and I’m hoping i can attend it. And i seriously suggest that if you like music in anyway you should attend too!
